The Waste Water Treatment Department, consisting of two licensed employees, operates a 1.0 MGD Activated Sludge Treatment Plant constructed in 1971. Additional sludge storage and treatment capacity were added in 2001. The system has 10 major pumping stations and one vacuum station in the service area ranging from 50 to 1000 gpm.
